The 1996 ARIA Awards were held at the Darling Harbour Convention Centre in Sydney, hosted by Chris Isaak and Harry Connick Jr. You Am I took home a swag of awards, including Best Group, and Album of the Year for Hourly, Daily.
The lads closed out the show with a cover of the Easybeats' 'I'll Make You Happy'. The following day they would head to the UK for a short tour with Lemonheads.
