The second of two appearances on Andrew Denton's eponymous late-night talk show finds the band recently returned from a stint in the US. After ripping through the new single "Purple Sneakers", Tim steps up to play "Denton's Musical Challenge", in which the musical guest selects from a barrel a song to play at the close of the show. In this case, the song chosen is the 1978 hit "Lay Your Love On Me" by British pop group Racey, which You Am I proceed to make their own. Tim's kazoo is sadly inaudible.
Note that a gimmick on this episode was for the entire show to be broadcast mirror-image.
